The opportunity:
A great opportunity has become available to join our Data, Architecture & Analytics team in Operations & Technology as a Data Business Analyst. Data stewardship is formalised accountability for the management of data. You will be responsible for working with various stakeholders within the organization to extract various knowledge that is needed. Data Business Analysts are the single point of contact for the data owned by a business function allowing consistent meaning and usage within and across departments.

Data Stewardship establishes accountability for:
Data definitions Data derivations and transformation Data quality rules and their enforcement Data-related communications Data element rationalisation Contributing to data-related policies and procedures. Understanding the downstream uses of their data - and how proposed changes impact those uses.
Main Accountabilities:

Aligning to any existing Zurich standard data definitions. Collate and maintain a glossary of business definitions relating to Zurich's data landscape. Establish owners of business definitions and data quality issues within the business. Work with projects to gather definitions, data quality rules and business rules and ensure glossary is maintained. Manage and maintain reference data for DAA. Documentation of business rules across the landscape

Your skills and experience:

Ideally Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Extensive experience in relevant field.
