Java Developer - Milton Keynes - GBP45K-GBP50K+ 12% Bonus + 10% Pension
A major online organisation based in Milton Keynes URGENTLY require a Java Developer (Spring, Maven, Grails) to join a cutting edge software delivery team. The Senior Java Developer will play an integral role in the roadmap and future development of core products including a number of Real Time data related systems and applications using Java, Spring, Maven, Grails and Oracle. My client are ideally seeking a Java Developer that possess the qualities that would see themselves managing a team in the next 12-18 months.
As Java Developer you will ideally possess skills/experience in the following areas:
- Java/Groovy
- Spring
- Maven/Gradle
- Jira/Git
- RESTful API's
Experience in the following areas would give an advantage:
- Grails
- Scala
- React (Flux & Redux)
- Docker
- Hazelcast
- Android
Joining a team of 16 developers you would be responsible for design, implementation, testing, documentation and knowledge sharing with developers in the project team. Working within a fast moving Agile environment you would be involved with all aspects of the SDLC including the design, build and test of new features/products.
It is integral that applicants for the role have excellent written and verbal communication skills and also be confident when partaking in project stand-ups and meetings.
