Business Development Manager (Stakeholders, Bids, Tenders, RFPs,) - Near Northampton - up to GBP60,000 plus car allowance
My client, a successful, specialist organisation are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their existing business team. This is a standalone role created as a direct result of the continued growth of the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven individual with a proven background in sales and business development to really put their stamp on a key role within the business.
Working as part of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for; the full bids and tenders process, preparing bids through to completion, identifying new sales opportunities and developing long-term relationships with a range of clients, managing the smooth transition across to other internal teams, where relevant.
The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador for the company so strong communication and organisational skills are essential. Commercial awareness and the ability to work proactively to achieve high sales conversions are also needed.
As the business is not easily accessible by public transport, you will need to drive to site and there will be some driving involved in the role, in line with business needs.
This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of up to GBP60,000 per annum, plus car allowance, dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience.
