Bookkeeper
An exciting opportunity has risen at one of the big 4 consultancies/accounting practices in Belfast. This established company are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Bookkeeper to be part of an innovative new service offering.
Requirements:
* Coding source documents such as invoices and purchase orders to the appropriate accounts.
* Communicating directly with clients across the UK by telephone and email.
* Learning to quickly understand and use several different finance management software applications.
* Maintaining and updating accounting records across a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Maintaining bank account records and performing bank account reconciliations.
* Assisting with the preparation of accounting summaries and reports when requested.
* Identifying and resolving any errors as appropriate.
Skills:
* Financial bacground is highly required.
* Previous bookkeeping experience is essential - minimum of 2 years.
* The ability to work well within a larger team both in Belfast and across the UK.
* Work effectively under pressure.
* Attention to detail and the personal motivation to perform your role to the highest standards.
* Always punctual, flexible and responsive in how you approach your work.
* English and Maths GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent).
* Microsoft office suite experience, good Excel skills are particularly valued.
Location: Belfast
Duration: 6 months
