Artworker
Location - Avonmouth, Bristol
Nisbets are currently looking for an Artworker, to work in our fast paced in house Artwork Studio within our Marketing Department. Reporting to the Planning and Production Manager, you will be responsible for preparing artwork for print on a multitude of catalogues and leaflets for the market leader in catering equipment. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role.
The role
The primary duties of the role will be-Receive briefs and produce layouts for catalogues, leaflets and other ad-hoc projects accordingly; ensuring accuracy & quality of artwork within specified time-linesAssist in assuring that proofs are moved around the business and are visible to relevant stakeholdersProactively appraise own artwork produced to ensure optimum quality of workDeliver print-ready artwork to printerAttend weekly Team Meeting and Planning & Production Meetings as required Ad-hoc projects as directed by the Planning & Production ManagerWorking across multiple medias simultaneously to meet demanding deadlines
The Person
To apply for this role your experience and skills will include-2 years experience as an art-worker in a similar rolePractical experience of using In-Design and Mac OSExperience of using and Acrobat a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop and Illustrator not essential but would be preferredStrong communication, planning and organising skillsMeticulous attention to detailPrioritization of own workload within departmental objectives and deadlinesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
