The College

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and versatile leader of the MIS reporting team. Providing a full reporting service for staff to facilitate effective planning, decision making and monitoring of performance. The wider MIS team is responsible for the management of the data, reports and systems across College.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of IT / MIS you will manage all aspects of the service relating to data reporting. You will be required to undertake and support FE/HE related reporting activities which include the extraction and analysis of key data sets. You will manage the reporting team, ensuring reports and analytics produced are sector leading and meet stakeholder demand. You will manage the data reporting dashboard, encouraging stakeholder involvement to create a reporting facility that supports the College mission 'Transforming lives through outstanding education, training and support'

What we are looking for

You must have a passion for data, be willing to share knowledge and training to upskill the team, and be able to explain complex reporting in an accessible way. A positive attitude is a must, including a strict belief in good practice and standardisation. You must have at least knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Management Studio.
