Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Manager to work in HD Decisions which is part of Experian. HD Decision is an innovative, fast growing company with many opportunities to bring together analytical insight, rich data sources and flexible, real-time web based applications to drive value.

HD Decisions develop data and technology products for the financial services market specialising in pre-qualification services. Their tools allow price comparison sites to profile their customers and match them to the most suitable products, radically improving the value proposition for their consumers and at the same time increasing their revenue. They also provide direct solutions to the likes of Barclays, Barclaycard, Lloyds Banking Group, RBS and NatWest.

As a Senior Business Manager you will own a specific & sizeable area of the business, setting the direction and agenda to help the wider business achieve its aims. You will lead a team, which may include other people managers. You will contribute towards the strategic direction of HD and be involved in the wider leadership planning for the business. You will help us develop the next generation of analytical excellence, maintaining high standards within your team and across the organisation.

Role Responsibilities
Managing a business area within a growing organisation whilst setting the business and analytical agenda within your teamLead and develop a team of primarily analystsEstablish and maintain senior strategic relationships and networks within key accountsSupport the commercial team to help their sales activity. Helping to produce proposals and design solutions for clientsConduct business reviews, providing subject matter market and product expertise.Help to shape the development of a growing business, contributing to strategy within your area and across the businessLead a business team, set the workload, prioritise opportunities and maintain excellent client relationshipsEnsuring their area of the business is well managed and compliant with the appropriate, governance and controls in placeInfluence the leadership team and contribute to the strategic direction of HDHelp develop the pre-qualification proposition that you own and adapt existing solutions and services into new areas
Essential Requirements
Familiar with many analytical techniques and be analytical mindedProven experience in influencing and negotiatingEducated to degree level - preferably in a mathematical, engineering or scientific discipline. A Banking or Financial Services background would be an advantage, especially in a credit risk role
