Our client are a market leading Facilities Management Group who are looking to recruit a mobile maintenance engineer. You would be based out of Tempsford but covering the surrounding areas.
You will be required to provide support and deliver M&E maintenance services, to include both reactive and planned maintenance.
Duties:
- Carry out PPM schedules as directed by the line manager
- Carry out task set by contract and technical managers in their absence in relation to activities generated by the FM Help Desk.
- Report and identify any critical plant failures and raise all Health and Safety issues, to ensure the safety of general public, building occupants and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all workmanship is delivered and completed to a high standard
- Supervise and assist M&E sub-contractors when needed.
- Keep full accurate and up to date records and logs
- Carry out daily inspections and report all faults to the appropriate manager
- Supervise monthly testing on emergency lighting, water treatments, AHU and FCU's.
- Make sure there is sufficient stock at all times
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Cover other sites in absence of mobile engineer
- Supervise, liaise with small installation projects and office moves
- Manage a weekly client visit calendar
Ideal candidate should have a proven record of experience of working in large multi buildings in a commercial environment.
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical
- Time served electrician with a strong mechanical background
- 17th Edition
- SSSTS
- L8
- Full Clean Driving Licence
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, but must be flexible to work outside of office hours and on occasions work on the weekend.
