Our £150M turnover company is still growing at a fantastic rate (even after 60 years!) and so are the software demands that this type of company creates. Because of this, we are now looking to expand our team of developers so that we can continue to create cutting edge software that keeps us ahead of our competition.
The ideal person will have a wide range of development experience, mainly focused around PHP, and have a good working knowledge of software design concepts.
The role will deliver an experience in a dynamic development environment and will give the candidate the chance to contribute to improving processes and software quality to help us achieve even higher levels of success.
This is a fantastic opportunity to progress as a developer, working on enterprise applications in an ambitious and constantly expanding company.
Essential
The developer will have (at least) experience with PHP, OO, MySQL, SQL Server, JavaScript (JQUERY), HTML, CSS and have a proven track record in developing high performance and scalable code and have a good understanding of object orientated programming.
Of course, your communication skills should be top notch and you will be a good team player as you will be communicating directly with the users (in-house).
The successful person will hold the following skills:
Commercial PHP developing experience
HTML/CSS is a must
JavaScript/ JQuery is a must
Strong SQL skills
Experience with frameworks e.g. Laravel, Codeignitor etc.
Proven background knowledge in database analysis and design
The ideal candidate must be a driven and confident individual.
