Our client

is a growing voluntary organisation providing services to people facing acute challenges in their lives. They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Assertive Outreach Worker to manage a small team and support rough sleepers with multiple and complex barriers to access accommodation and services that will help them move off the streets.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have substantial experience of supporting homeless people and/or working with hard to reach groups, alongside Line Management experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the team to deliver a high quality service, and providing line management to staff, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders on targets, performance and outcomes.
  • Assessing, planning and enacting person-centred packages of support, alongside sustained individual key-working, to assist rough sleepers into appropriate services and accommodation.
  • Forging positive operational and strategic partnerships with various agencies, working together as one team to address the needs of rough sleepers.
