My Client, one of the top independent oil and gas traders is looking for a flexible, multi-tasking, well organised individual who is looking to advance their career into compliance. You will already have two to three years' experience, ideally in compliance but alternatively in operations or legal within a relevant and similar fast paced sector as long you have exposure to compliance areas and a strong understanding of surveillance, AML and antibribery. You will gain exposure in an international firm operating out of over 30 countries and with a strong and stable financial base. Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to • Supporting the implementation of regulatory regulations on derivative and physical energy trading • Assisting the trade surveillance function • Conducting due diligence of new and existing third parties (counterparties, agents, business partners, M&A transactions) • Conducting compliance led reviews • Support the Legal and Finance teams on Sanctions related matters • Undertaking additional activities as directed by the Head of Compliance EMEA and Asia
