Computer Officer (Development)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the College's Information Systems Department in a role that involves the design, development, implementation and support of an extensive range of information systems. Candidates should be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 (ie: Extended Diploma or A Level) with experience of software development, web-based and/or database applications, and of undertaking data analysis. Candidates should also be able to work to high standards of accuracy and possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.

The successful applicant will join a small development team working on a variety of in-house applications (previous projects have included electronic registers, an information portal and a suite of management & KPI reports). They will thus have numerous opportunities to develop new skills and extend their existing skills, putting them to use to create new and innovative solutions, and will be able to see directly how their work benefits the students and staff at the College.
