Tutor - Future Choices (Maternity Cover)
Term Time Only, 37 hours per week

National Star are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative tutor to deliver high quality programmes for young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or autistic spectrum learning disabilities. You will have experience of delivering effective multi-disciplinary programmes using innovative, creative and sensory approaches to young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties or autistic spectrum disorders. You will also have experience of the post 16 curriculum, possess excellent communication skills and hold relevant teaching qualifications. Your teaching and recording of progress will meet required professional standards and ensure high quality provision for young people with complex and profound learning difficulties. You will be self-motivated and an excellent member of a multidisciplinary team working around a learner. As a tutor you will model excellent practice and be a flexible problem solver in a busy and demanding context. You will confidently build positive relationships with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.
