Orbit offers the latest in floatation tank technology.  The tanks offer an experience like nothing on the market where users disconnect from the outside world.  The experience is a heightened relaxing experience offering a feeling of weightlessness that induces deep relaxation both mentally and physically as well as promoting general well-being.

Orbit runs a Float Centre, based in Hertfordshire which offers consumers the chance to float and customers a chance to see the products.  We are now looking for a Float Centre Business Development Manager to join the team.  The purpose of this role is to identify opportunities to expand the float centre business through sales and marketing activities as well as managing the existing float centre.

As the Float Centre Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and increasing the sales revenue of the float centre as well as building and promoting this side of the business through local marketing activities
• Updating and posting across social media channels which will include blogging, website and other social media activities.
• Managing the operational side of the float centre and liaising with customers using the facilities offering exceptional customer service.
• Recruiting and hiring the float centre staff as the centre grows.
• Building high level customer relationships and customer loyalty through brand loyalty and service.
• Managing the growth of the company through expansion into other geographical areas.

The successful Float Centre Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:

• Working within a sales and marketing target driven environment within a small business.
• An exceptional self-motivated individual who is looking for an opportunity to help to shape the direction of a young company with long term aspirations for their own career.
• Confidence to generate and trial new ideas to move the business forward
• You really need to be a people person with experience of working in a customer facing environment where they have offered exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
• Willingness to adapt to a constantly changing environment and the ability to roll up their sleeves and get on with the demands of the role.
• Full UK driving license is needed due to the rural location of our head office.

The position is based from our head office in Hertfordshire.  We are looking for exceptional individuals who will be able to balance the business development demands of the role with the day to day management of the centre. Flexibility will be required around the Float Centre Opening times but based on full time hours.  In return the Business Development Manager will receive a salary of around £25,000 with the potential to earn high levels of commission.
