Senior .NET Developer

This is a new VB.NET/WinForms Development vacancy for my client who are moving from a medium to large sized organisation due to the popularity of their product range. The company is investing heavily in their IT department by adding to a team of established developers (3) with this role, followed by an additional 2, BI Developer and 3 other IT positions.

We are looking to attract a seasoned developer who wants a creative and collaborative environment where you would have direct relationships with the Head of IT and the business as a whole. It is an open plan office where IT is placed strategically in the centre of the office encouraging engagement and collaboration with the wider office and stakeholders.

Projects:
* Typically internal projects for internal stakeholders
* A mix of small (circa 4 weeks) and large (6 month - 2 year)
* Overhaul, review and development of core business systems (bespoke)
* 3rd party supplier engagement and management

Essential Skills:
* VB.NET and/or C#
* WinForms/Desktop Applications
* SQLServer
* An ability to contribute to technical discussions, and be comfortable bringing ideas that could affect the company's technology.

Desirable Skills:
* JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS
* Agile/Lean
