Maintenance Manager

About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our Power Transmission & Distribution business.



Based in Hereford, this role will report into the Fabrication Manager and work on one of our projects.



What you'll be doing


As a Maintenance Manager, you will:




Lead the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed safely, on time and correctly
Manage all site Facilities including security and repairs/maintenance to building and site
Introduce and manage a PPM regime to cover all plant, equipment and facilities
Establish, monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality and delivery of maintenance activity
Lead and facilitate a continuous improvement culture within the maintenance team



Who we're looking for
You will:




Be a leader with energy, commitment, drive, adaptability, creativity, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
Be able to implement and drive performance improvement using KPIs and visual management
Have an eagerness to learn and improve
Have proven experience as a maintenance manager/team leader
Have experience in planning maintenance operations
Have a working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety Principals
Hold Mechanical and/or Electrical qualifications
