The Role:

In expectation of the department’s involvement in accounting for Gross Margin & Inventory for Iceland, as well as exports to France, an additional position of an Accounts Assistant has arisen. 

This is one of the three positions reporting to the Manager – Gross Margin & Inventory, providing support in all areas of daily, weekly and periodic accounting, reconciliation and reporting related to that department.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Certifications:

+ Some knowledge of warehouse and buying procedure would be an advantage
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel skills.
+ Ideally studying towards an accounting qualification, or intending to, in the near future.
+ Strong analytical skills are required with the ability to accurately process large amounts of data in a very short period of time.
+ The candidate must be a team player, self-motivated and possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Attention to detail with good organisational skills and flexible attitude in prioritising work tasks and ad hoc requirements in order to meet stringent deadlines.

AAT Accountant, Inventory Accounting, Accounts Payable, Reconciliation Accounts Assistant, Stock Accounts Assistant
