I have a brand new requirement for an Engineering Director to work in the Aerospace sector on a permanent basis.
Location: Based in the Bedfordshire.
My client is looking for someone with a strong operations background, to drive strategic decisions and improve manufacturing and business operations in the UK and internationally. My client is a leading supplier of capital equipment to the Automotive, Aerospace and other industries. If you have strong experience and skills in the below areas I will be keen to speak to you.
* Driving company strategy throughout UK and global manufacturing unit, the ability to cope with transition, change and ability to make an impact is desirable
* Broad experience driving productivity, performance and improving manufacturing processes
* Experienced in using lean methodologies and continuous improvement techniques
* Develop business efficiencies, reducing costs and improve bottom line
* Be hands on in order to solve and technical problems or manufacturing issues that may arise
* We are looking for a strong man-manager, to manage production, project and engineering teams
* Technical (mechanical or electro-mechanical) engineering experience with capital equipment, machinery, lifting equipment, automation or similar
Salary: GBP65,000 - GBP80,000 + (Excellent benefits package)
