Senior Recruitment Consultant - Marine / Aerospace & Defence
To GBP35k ote GBP60-80k + Benefits
COMPANY
One of the largest organisations of its kind in the UK, my client has an immediate requirement for 2 additional recruiters for its Bristol office. Working with the leading clients in the sector, they are a contract and perm supplier of thousands of candidates UK and internationally.
ROLE
The company wish to hire a senior recruitment consultant on Marine, and a second consultant on Aerospace & Defence. These can either be successful perm or contract consultants but the crucial area of expertise is knowledge of the sector. You do not need to bring clients with you however the ability to converse with senior level decision makers is paramount.
Working on a number of large key clients you will be expected to perform a full 360 role although this isn't a KPI focused business. If you are working smart and doing deals, your call stats and cv send outs are of no concern. Typical candidate salaries will be a minimum level of GBP45k but all blue and white collar engineering recruitment backgrounds will be considered if you feel you are capable of working in this space.
This is a mature environment and people with a good work ethic will do very well. It is likely you have a minimum of 12 months relevant recruitment experience to the sectors.
PERSON
Given the specialist nature of the markets you do need a minimum of 12 months in a technical / engineering recruitment discipline. You can be a perm or contract specialist, with the main criteria being the ability to perform an end to end role. Any background in aerospace / defence or marine are of particular interest but rail / infrastructure and automotive are also highly desirable too.
PACKAGE
Salary will be discussed on an individual basis, but GBP25-35k is ball park. Commission is very competitive with the company paying above average and also offer a significant annual bonus. Targets are agreed with the individual, as is a career path and long term opportunity. The business is well backed financially and looking to attract the best talent in the market.
