Group Accountant, Fareham
Butler Rose is delighted to be representing a fast growing manufacturing business with a global presence. We are seeking a technically strong qualified accountant for a Group Accounting role which offers both variety in its content and an opportunity to really add value to the growth plans of the business.
Reporting to the Controller you will be responsible for the day to day finances for several European entities to include:
Controls for balance sheet reconciliation
Month end journals to ensure the month end reporting is accurate
Cash forecasting
Financial regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction
Monthly management reporting
Delivery of year end and other audits
Oversight of personal expense management
Working with AP team for approval of payment run and collective responsibly for AP management
Working with AR team to ensure cash collection is in a timely fashion
With ambitious growth plans this business is looking for someone who can think on their feet, work as part of a close knit team, business partner with remote stakeholders and contribute to process improvements to ensure optimum performance as they continue upon their growth plans.
Candidates should be Qualified with a strong technical accounting background and experience of dealing with different cultures and industries. Strong Excel is a must as is a collaborative 'sleeves rolled up' approach and a driven yet warm personality.
