FT2994 - QA Automation Engineer

FINTEC recruit is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for our technical client based in Altrincham. This is a permanent position with a salary of £40-45k depending on experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

• You will design and execute Behaviour Driven Development automated tests using cucumber.
• Provide QA metrics and associated management information to project stakeholders.
• Maintain automated test suites, refactoring the framework to keep it clean and efficient.
• Guiding other team members and teams in the use of Behaviour Driven Development processes and the use of automated test tools
• Defining high level testing scenarios based upon user stories.

Requirements:

Must have experience with;

• Designing and executing test cases via cucumber toolset.
• Identifying gaps and reducing overlaps in unit integration and acceptance testing.
• Defining and creating the test data required for all tests.
• Analysis and trend reporting for continuous product quality improvement.
• Enhancing and extending test automation libraries via the cucumber test framework.
• Solving complex automation challenges and working on complex projects with minimal supervision
• Designing and developing automated functional and regression test cases and scripts based upon reusable test code modules and
