Trainee Headhunter

Location: Altrincham, Cheshire

Salary: £16K - £21K + Commission, Pension, Healthcare (£25K - £35K OTE first year)

About Us: We are an established, successful Executive Headhunting organisation with an enviable reputation for providing high calibre candidates to our clients in a wide range of industry sectors. Due to continued expansion, we now have an opportunity for a bright, ambitious individual to join us as a Trainee Headhunter.

The Role: Many companies are struggling to attract the right quality of staff through traditional recruitment methods because only a fraction of the people they are seeking to attract are actively looking for new positions. Traditional recruitment techniques simply do not reach these exceptional candidates.

Many companies realise that they need to attract talent from this large, hidden source. However, to do so requires refined expertise and that is why our clients engage Executive Headhunters as their recruitment partner.

About You: In order to succeed in this challenging and rewarding industry as a Trainee Headhunter, you will need to be:

• Bright and able to adapt quickly in a fast moving environment. Education to Degree level will be an advantage.
• Comfortable and confident using the telephone. Some experience of telephone based work will be useful but not essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a real desire to earn in-line with effort.
• Genuinely interested in learning about new things including industries, job roles and people.
• Exceptionally organised and able to work to strict deadlines.
• Friendly and professional at all times.
• Driven to succeed through hard work and determination.

This role will work closely with our most experienced Headhunter, giving you the opportunity to learn in a supportive and collaborative environment and earn commission from day one.

We have quarterly targets for team incentives for things like The Comedy Store, The Belfry for golf or a spa day or a weekend trip to Rome. Each team has an end of year target for a 10% pay rise. We are a small and friendly team who really want each other to do well.
