This role's purpose is to operate a wheeled loading shovel in undertaking waste processing activities. You will also undertake plant cleaning and non-technical maintenance tasks on site.
Duties:
- Operate the Wheeled Loading Shovel to transfer materials safely and competently, and to load plant hoppers and vehicles, within the Plant.
- To maintain ABPR hygiene requirements by cleaning vehicle wheels and floor areas as necessary.
- Routine maintenance of plant and equipment, including oils and water checks and reporting defects to the Site Supervisor.
- Cleaning duties including use of pressure washer and Mobile Elevated Work Platform.
- To attend any training deemed necessary for the role.
Key Requirements:
- Yellow plant licence - Loading shovel and 360 rise and fall excavator - essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the general public.
- Work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer orientated.
- Previous experience working on a plant.
- Weighbridge experience.
