Care Team Leader
LOCATION: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
JOB TITLE: Care Team Leader
SALARY & BENEFITS: Weekdays GBP10.25, Weekends GBP14.35, Bank Hols GBP18.45
WORKING HOURS: Days and nights available
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex provide care with nursing for residents living with Dementia, elderly frail residents and those with mental health problems. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with views on the South Downs and across the 250 acres of gardens and farmlands. Made up of 3 separate homes and a retirement village.
They are now looking to recruit a Care Team Leader to join their committed team.
THE ROLE: They are currently recruiting for a Care Team Leader who will be responsible for a range of care and support services to the Home and its Residents. In addition to act under supervision of the qualified professional Staff Nurse plan, implement, undertake appropriate clinical skills, supervise the provision of quality of care to the Residents and assist in development of care staff.
Shifts: There are currently, fixed morning afternoon and night shifts available - Both Full time and Part time.
Morning - 6.45am - 2pm
Afternoon - 1.45pm - 9pm
Nights - 8.45pm - 7am
An overview of Key Responsibilities:
• To be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the Home functions efficiently and effectively maintaining a high standard
• To lead the care team during the shift ensuring that safe, effective care service is maintained to include
• Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which the Team Leader have received appropriate training
• To ensure confidentiality of all information relating to residents and the Homes
• To act in a responsible and professional manner at all times.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the role of Care Team Leader will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate good management and leadership skills. Ideally you have experience managing and leading staff. You will need a clear understanding of the gold standard framework and be NVQ 3 qualified.
Key experience essential for the Care Team Leader role:
• NVQ 3 qualified
• Live within a commutable distance of Burgess Hill
• Good understanding of the gold standard framework
• Supervisory / team leader experience in a care setting
