Senior Software Developer

This software company is about to embark on a major phase of product investment which has created a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to get involved in a brand new green field project. The project involves creating a web-based process mapping tool to eventually replace existing desktop software.

They are looking to leverage cutting edge technology wherever possible and are looking for someone enjoys creating innovative technical solutions. They have a wide range of blue chip clients (such as Skanska, Homeserve, Equifax, The AA) and this role will make a real impact to their day to day processes.

The candidate MUST possess the following skills:
- 5 years' experience of .Net (either C# or VB.Net) & ASP.Net
- Solid understanding of object orientated software development principles and software design principles
- Knowledge of and experience using Azure to implement cloud-based solutions
- Good knowledge of JQuery
- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS 3
- Some database design skills (ideally SQL Server)

The candidate would ideally possess the following additional skills:
- Experience of designing and implementing a SaaS solution
- Knowledge of MVC and its potential advantages
- Experience of unit testing
- Knowledge of SVG and/or other web-based drawing technologies
