An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Charge Manager who will report to the Head of Accountancy. The successful candidate ideally will be a part-qualified accountant, AAT qualified or qualified by relevant experience. Working knowledge of setting annual service charges in the housing sector and a comprehensive knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in relation to service charges is essential.

This role is responsible for setting and monitoring annual service charges for properties across Progress Housing Group. Ensuring annual service charge accounts are produced and issued in line with legislation and Group policies and procedures. This role will provide technical support, advice and guidance to operational managers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated and focused individual who can achieve key operational objectives and meet key performance and regulatory targets.

This is a crucial post and the successful candidate must have excellent administration and communication skills, together with enthusiasm and a flexible approach to work and have the ability to organise their own workload and meet tight deadlines.  You will be committed to customer service, have the ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised and be confident in dealing with non-finance professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as an integral part of a team in a challenging but rewarding environment. A car should be available for which a mileage allowance will be paid. The role will be on an agile basis working from our Head Office in Leyland, working from home as well as occasionally working from our other areas in Lytham St Annes.
