The Role: 

As a Planned Engineer, you will be tasked with performing planned service and maintenance activities on safety and security systems based at customers’ sites across Reading and the surrounding area. 

Your role will primarily involve: 

- Operating in a safe manner at all times 
- Working on fire, CCTV, intruder and access control systems 
- Carrying out all tasks in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs 
- Processing jobs via a tablet or PDA to keep accurate records of completed and remedial work 
- Maintaining strong communications with customers 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Planned Engineer, you will need: 

- Experience of working with intruder alarms, CCTV, fire systems and access 
- A full driving licence 
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills 
- Strong communication abilities 
- An analytical mindset
