We are seeking a Deputy Head of Science. The role will include line management responsibilities for some members of the Science department, and in conjunction with the Assistant Principal for Science you will share responsibility for department policies, decision making and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner able to deliver Science lessons in an engaging and motivating manner. You will be able to demonstrate your previous curriculum success and your enthusiasm to succeed in the role. You will have an excellent knowledge of current initiatives and new curricula as well as strategies to the improvement of quality of teaching and learning especially in the Science Department. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and lead quality data management and tracking.
