Your experience in System Architecture design practice and methods and knowledge of Tactical communications systems design, development, deployment and operation (specifically Morpheus Architecture), will play a crucial part in developing the Systems Design Authority Capability of the UK MOD and supporting the transfer of skills and knowledge to the UK MOD.

About the Job:
The client is recruiting for the strategic position of Principal Systems Engineer, who will be responsible for implementing systems engineering processes, procedures and technical input into the JPO change processes, and capabilities in support of EvO and future IS SDA Capabilities. The post will have 2 main responsibilities; to develop the Systems Design Authority Capability of the UK MOD, through joint development of processes, artefacts, tools and ways of working; and to support the knowledge transfer of skills, knowledge to the UK MOD. The job will involve;
Support Business transformation lead in developing the overall JPO Change Process, methods and ways of working, including establishment of the Programme Management Office
Develop 'best practice' processes and governance
Work with the Authority JPO staff to develop artefacts and technical governance procedures
Support the Knowledge Transfer Manager in developing and delivering knowledge transfer plan.
Support the transfer of knowledge to the authority staff, including mentoring and training
Provide subject Matter expertise on Morpheus Architecture to Authority staff
About You:
To be the right fit for this Principal Systems Engineer, you will have extensive knowledge of System Architecture design practice and methods for Tactical communication System design, development, deployment and operation. You will also need demonstrable experience in developing and adapting processes for application to new projects/programs and transferring knowledge.
