An exciting opportunity for a part qualified management accountant in Hull offering day release study support.
Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting a part qualified Management Accountant for this specialist manufacturing company in Hull. This is a hands-on role supporting the business and will involve regular travel to two group sites in Lincolnshire. Some overnight stays will be necessary. A hire car or mileage allowance will be provided. A full driving license is essential.
Your new role
You will support and assist the Finance Director in the production of the group accounts, provide management information to enable effective decision-making, implement group control procedures, produce monthly financial reports to enable group consolidation, and support the implementation of change.
What you will need to succeed
You will be studying towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification. You will already possess some similar accounting experience. You will flexible and happy to undertake regular travelling between sites and staying away on business as required. You will have a full driving license.
In addition, you will have strong written reporting skills, high levels of IT literacy, be able to work well under pressure, able to work accurately with good attention to detail, possess strong analytical skills, and have good interpersonal skills.
What you will get in return
A competitive salary, study support (day release), 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising by one day for every year of service to 25 days). Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
