Provider of specialist services to the education sector is looking to recruit a Production Engineer to ensure maximum production capacity of process plant and equipment.
Candidates require an in depth background with print machinery and related software and must have the aptitude to learn, maintain and fault find on several types of print machines/technologies, paper processors, semi-automated cutting machines, stack collators, pneumatic tools etc.
You will be able to provide support to all the above at 1st and 2nd line level.
You will ideally have automation experience and be a good hands on all-rounder
The job holder will also be expected to assist/carry out more mundane factory related maintenance (repairs/maintenance on lighting, heating, door systems etc).
The majority of equipment users are semi-skilled - so it is important that the individual is a proactive, helpful, team player and able to communicate well at all levels.
