Caretaker for Primary School

Broadwater Down Primary School is a small school of 180 pupils in the south of Tunbridge Wells.

We wish to appoint a caretaker to join our team as soon as possible. We need someone who enjoys practical and manual work, who can work independently and as part of a well-established school team. The duties are varied, but will include: security of the school site and buildings, regular health & safety checks and maintenance of the buildings and school site.

The postholder will require practical experience preferably in the building trade and be conscientious, efficient, flexible, reliable and able to work both on their own initiative and under the guidance of others.

The post is for 15 to 20 hours a week for 52 weeks a year on KR3 (pro-rata to £15253 to £16967 for a 37-hour full time post)
