As a Painter & Decorator your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working on empty and occupied properties
• Ensuring to deliver top class work on time
• Measuring surface areas to calculate the amount of paint or wall covering required.
• Stripping and preparation of surfaces making ready for the appropriate covering (paint, paper, varnish etc).
• Applying the paint or wall covering following good working practices.
• Paying close attention to detail to create a quality end product.
• Ensuring safety standards while working
• Working with own tools

The successful Painter & Decorator will hold:

• Previous experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer friendly attitude
• Time management skills
• Good practical and creative skills
• Ability to work at heights
• Sound awareness of health and safety policies.
• Skills to work independently or as part of a team
