This is truly an exciting time to be joining Aviva. We are now seeking a Senior Financial Education Consultant to develop a portfolio of key corporate clients and deliver effective communications strategies which maximise and retain the funds under management in our workplace pension portfolio. The successful candidate will assist in the winning of new business by supporting and delivering pitches and successfully on-boarding new schemes from a communications perspective. You will also Identify and promote fee paying services where appropriate and deliver communication programmes in the workplace using face to face, written and digital mediums.
Duties & Responsibilities
- On-board new schemes from a communication perspective, working closely with the Implementation Manager, Account Director, Marketing Team and client and distributor ensuring that communication plans are delivered to the clients requirements and within the Menu of Services.
- Carry out employer fact find meetings with key clients in association with the distributor (where appropriate) in order to establish the clients needs and to follow this up by producing written agreed communications/education plans which are effective, maximise profitability and retain business.
- Work closely with allocated Executive Client Managers in order to establish key client requirements and deliver against, targeted objectives.
- Deliver presentations and pension clinics and facilitate Financial Education programmes to a high standard
- Actively promote and sell the benefits of the Aviva Financial Education proposition at employer meetings, beauty parades and site visits.
- Promote fee paying financial education services to new and existing clients, respond to enquiries, price work and present our proposals in order to secure client mandates.
Skills & Experience required
- Financial services professional with track record in Financial Education.
- Skilled influencer and negotiator with the ability to present Aviva credentials at all levels.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with internal and external customers demonstrated through personal profile within Aviva, and strategic partners and clients.
- Knowledgeable on competitor activity in the Financial Services marketplace and the distributor value chain e.g. business strategy, key drivers, and key influencers.
- Gravitas and business acumen to be taken seriously within internal and external networks.
- Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold the CII Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent and working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning
