Our team is growing and we are looking for a talented Business Consultant to join our growing Business Consultancy Team focused on our Insurance customers, based from our Aldershot office.
What being the Business Consultant with SSP will involve:
As our Business Consultant, your role will be the key interface with our internal and external customers. Using your extensive business consultancy experience, you will gather and translate requirements into clear functional specifications and/or business change requirements. You will provide fee-earning consultancy and services surrounding SSP products.
Working on various projects as the lead point of contact, often based from customer sites, you will work closely with our customers and project management team. From defining the implementation and development scope of the project through to advising on business priorities you will highlight any impacts on the overall implementation plan. You will guide members of the Business Consultancy team, providing knowledge and expertise to both our internal and external customers as well as providing leadership and mentoring to our Business Analysts, developing them to achieve their potential.
Based from our Aldershot offices, there will be travel across the UK with ad hoc requirements to undertake international travel.
What experience we look for from you:
It is essential that you have knowledge of the Insurance industry (commercial and personal lines) and its processes and procedures gained through direct experience. The successful candidate will come with proven experience as an IT Business Analyst that has worked in a lead role. Leadership and task management experience together with demonstrable experience of working in a field consultancy capacity for external customers and delivery of complex solutions is also required. Strong familiarity with project planning and governance tools is expected and it is desirable to have BCS/ISEP qualification but not essential as SSP will invest in in-house and external training.
