Cognos Analyst - Planning / BI / SQL Server / TM1 is urgently required to work for a leading and prestigious professional services organisation based in the either of their Colchester or Central London based offices (Ideally Colchester). With an annual turnover of GBP70+ million and hundreds of millions of pounds in net assets, it's an exciting time to be joining this market leading organisation as they have a major commitment to BI/MI throughout the organisation which has helped them gain a truly global presence and a market leader status.

Now looking to hire an experienced Cognos Analyst with a solid technical background in Cognos Enterprise Planning (Analyst and Contributor), you will also need to have previous experience in leading and delivering several Cognos implementations.

As the Cognos Analyst you will be providing valuable information and insight across all levels of the organisation offering transparency in order to drive performance and enable management to achieve goals. The role is part of a rapidly expanding team that is adapting to the desire of the business for more data, the changing regulatory needs of the industry and the evolution of technology!

The Cognos Analyst must have:
- Expert knowledge in Cognos Enterprise Planning (Analyst and Contributor);
- Solid experience in leading several Cognos implementations;
- Proven knowledge in Business Intelligence principles and methodologies;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (especially using Data Warehouse models).

Nice to have experience for the Cognos Analyst would also include:
- Cognos Enterprise Planning Certification;
- Knowledge in Cognos TM1;
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence using tools such as Microsoft BI and Cognos BI 10.1+;
- Prior experience to data visualization tools such as Tableau and Cognos.
