The Role

We are looking to recruit a Despatch Shift Manager / Warehouse Shift Manager in North West London. This fantastic opportunity for an individual with FMCG despatch / warehouse experience who is seeking a role where they can bring and build on their expertise.

Responsibilities Include:

• Working to control all aspects of the despatch operation for your shift to ensure service and customer standards are met or exceeded.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained in a manner to ensure optimum and safe conditions.
• Minimising waste levels through correct stock rotation and goods' controls.
• Communicating with colleagues and external parties as appropriate to flag and address variances.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost savings.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment and adhere to all Company health and safety procedures.
• Ensuring all relevant information is captured and reported.
• Motivating and developing a high performing team.
• Managing attendance, conduct and performance through appropriate HR policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Worked in an FMCG or food manufacturing despatch / warehouse operation
• Experience of leading and developing a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A safety work ethic
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
• The ability to work on own initiative and a problem solving / improvement focus
• Flexible to work shifts/weekends

Salary: circa £33k + Benefits
