CNC operator ( weekend shift )
Our client is an established, successful manufacturer with a busy order book and supply materials for the aerospace industry. They are currently looking for a CNC operator / CNC miller / CNC machinist working on a weekend shift.
Job title: CNC operator / CNC miller / CNC machinist
Salary: GBP20,670 increasing after probation to GBP22, 000
Benefits: pension , 22 days holiday, pension, overtime
Hours: 24 hours per Weekend shift 06.00 - 18.00 Saturday and Sunday 1 hour break each day
Training will be required initially on a day shift Monday to Friday for a short period of weeks
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol BS110YW
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
The CNC operator / CNC miller / CNC machinist should have experience and knowledge of operating CNC machines or similar types CNC machinery and equipment but no programming is necessary.
The CNC operator / CNC miller / CNC machinist would ideally have a production, manufacturing or similar engineering/CNC background operating milling machines.
Qualifications i.e. City and Guilds or equivalent in engineering are useful but experience demonstrated in a similar type of CNC operating role is more important.
The role will operate on weekends from 06.00 - 18.00 on both Saturday and Sunday with occasional additional work in the week if candidates are available or want to do it.
This role is a permanent weekend shift and is temporary to permanent for the successful candidate.
