Retail Sales Floor Manager

C and H are looking for a Full Time Retail Sales Floor Manager to run our busy Dress Fabric Knitting Yarn and Craft Floor in our Tunbridge Wells store. The role is on the first floor which specialises in Dress Fabrics, Haberdashery, Knitting Yarn and Craft products, as well as some Gifts and Ladies Fashion Accessories. Product experience and interest is beneficial, but previous retail management experience is essential.

Principal Purpose of Sales Floor Manager – Dress, Knitting Yarn and Craft Floor:

• To provide management, leadership, motivations and organisation to the sales team. This will include the following departments - Dress Fabrics, Knitting Yarns, Crafts, Haberdashery, Gifts and Fashion Accessories.
• To ensure a high level of customer service at all times, and proactively generate sales by promoting our products and services. To ensure effective and commercial merchandising of products on the sales floor.
• To eliminate unnecessary loss and wastage through effective stock management and ensure profitability of sales.
• To report into the Store Manager, Buyers and Directors on sales performance and floor profitability as well as feedback on product ranges and ideas to generate further sales growth.
