We are currently recruiting for our 2017 Graduate Recruitment scheme. As part of this scheme we have a structured initial learning program for 3 months followed by our continuous learning program. We are hiring for the role of a Graduate Test Engineer. Testers play a critical role in ensuring that the code quality is delivered without fault and to the highest standard possible. Testers form an integral part of any development team and increasingly leverage new automation technology.
Responsibilities :
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing
Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers, and other development test objects
Work with the release team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification test
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used
Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks
Report defects and assign it to right stakeholders
Estimate the Testing effort based on scope of work
Follow the test process and follow defect management
Technical Skills:
Manual Testing
Automation skill - Selenium, UFT
Performance Testing skill - Load runner, Dynatrace, J-Meter
Tools - Jira, ALM
Basic knowledge and understanding on Agile Methodology, Java, .Net, C#, PL/SQL, SAP ( HR, Finance, CAR)
Other Skills :
Ability to understand the business from an user perspective
Ability and passionate of finding defects, assertive, confident & results-oriented
Programming knowledge an advantage
Interest in working in teams and being good team player
Excellent communication skills
Candidate must be hard-working with a positive can-do attitude
Candidate should possess excellent learning ability and take up challenges. Be a good team player
Good comprehension skills- Ability to clearly understand and state the issues customers present
Interest to develop documentation using tools like Microsoft office
* Due to the nature of this role and the possibility of European travel, candidates are expected to satisfy the requirements for free movement of workers within the EU Member States (which may include, for example, a requirement to hold a valid EU passport).
