The Norfolk Teacher Training Centre are a provider of school based teacher training leading to the award of Qualified Teacher Status. Since our launch in 2014 our trainee numbers have doubled and the range of partner schools we work with has increased significantly. In our 2016 Ofsted inspection our provision was rated as GOOD in every category.

We are therefore, seeking to appoint a well-qualified and appropriately experienced individual with the ability to maintain consistently high outcomes for our trainees and deliver the enhancements which will help us to move towards Outstanding.

The post will initially involve taking responsibility for lesson and portfolio assessments of trainees for a group of curricular subjects, together with a shared responsibility for the delivery of our on-going professional development programme. This individual will also want to become involved in the provision of our Assessment Only route and the future strategy of the NTTC.

It is likely that the individual will currently be a subject leader or above in a high school setting who has an interest in initial teacher training and CPD. However, we are also interested in hearing from anyone who has a proven track record currently working in initial teacher education.
