This popular nursery in Crawley is looking for staff members to work over the summer holidays but also supply staff who are available to cover sickness/holiday. At this stage they are very open to offering part time or full time work and would love to hear from a mix of qualified and unqualified candidates.

Although these roles will start on a supply or temporary basis they can potentially offer long term or permanent roles to the right candidates.

In this role your main responsibilities will be:

Caring for children aged 0-5 years within a nursery setting and assisting the staff in caring for the children's needs.
Planning and delivering fun and exciting activities
Assisting with lunchtime activities
Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
Working towards assessing the development of children through observations
Each day you will liaise with the team as well as parents, carers and other professionals to ensure we are meeting the needs of every individual child
You will help the children to learn, grow and develop by writing up reports and linking observations to the EYFS Framework

Requirements of this role:

Qualified candidates ideally must have at least a NVQ3 in childcare
Must have relevant child care experience.
Be able to provide at least 1 child care reference.
Relevant knowledge of EYFS England and Wales.
Own transport is desirable but not essential
Eligibility to work in the UK
