Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP28,000

My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 40 Big Companies to work for. They are currently recruiting for a Theft Claims Team Leader to join our dynamic and forward thinking teams.
Working in a growing, busy office environment, you will be leading and developing a team of Theft Claims Advisers. Managing the performance of this team to ensure productivity, quality and customer service goals are maximised.
You will work in partnership with other Team Leaders in communicating and making agreed changes happen across the Motor Claims Unit as well as working closely with Technical Experts to develop your team to deliver a high level of performance to achieve those goals.
Job Description
As the Theft Claims Team Leader your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of Theft Claims Handlers to perform and achieve business results.
• Ensure that your team has the required skills to achieve claims handling and other performance targets, providing coaching and support to address any shortfalls.
• Agreeing performance objectives and development plans for your team and actively managing the contribution of your team using key performance indicators.
• Ensuring that the team is appropriately resourced at all times to maximise delivery of the defined levels of customer service.
• Resolve referred customer-related issues in a manner which maximises customer and company satisfaction.
• Complete audits on team members and put development plans in place to address training needs
• Measure direct reports performance against KPI's and SLA's
• Achieve quality measures within the claims process.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Theft Claims Team Leader will have previous experience in Motor Claims as well as meet the following requirements
• Previous experience managing a team is essential.
• Previous experience conducting 121s and appraisals.
• An ability to influence and manage relationships.
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
What's on Offer
Competitive base salary of GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 depending on experience, coupled with an excellent benefits package
