To provide commercial sales support to Senior Management and the sales team. To be responsible for Pricing, assist in the preparation of Commercial Bids, and head Bid meetings. To assist with the formulation of Pricing Strategy. Assist the understanding of Sales and Margin, explaining results and comparing them against set targets and outside sources.

My client is a growing manufacturing SME with offices based in Crawley.
Description
- Assist the preparation of pricing proposals.
- Review final pricing as adjusted by the Sales team, and seek appropriate authorisation.
- Prepare and Maintain the List Pricing.
- Liaise with the Accountant and operational team to understand what is classified as baseline product, and what the modifications are.
- Develop forward looking insightful KPIs and associated drumbeat of weekly and monthly reporting on
- Analyse and Report on Sales and Standard Margin as part of the month end reporting.
- Calculate revenue recognition under IFRS.
- Run the weekly Sales & Operations Meeting suggesting changes and improvements as appropriate.
- Maintain the weekly Sales Forecast model, and liaise with Operations to ensure all departmental plans are updated accordingly and are all in line.
- Drive the continuing development and motivation of the whole Finance and Sales Team and to contribute to the cultural development of the team.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Excellent excel skills, comfortable with financial modelling
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- A "can-do" attitude
- Team-player.
