Apollo Teaching Services are proud to be expanding their team in our successful Newcastle office. Having been awarded the Gold award in Recruiting Standards from the REC, now is an exciting time to be joining one on the largest recruitment companies in the UK.
The successful candidate will have a passion for sales and be able to converse with people from all walks of life via the phone or face-to-face and demonstrate flexibility within their role. You will need to be an effective team player, have the drive and ambition to work towards targets with excellent organisational and communicating skills and be able to work flexibly. You will essentially be responsible for your own area and for the recruitment and management of staff within that area.
In Summary
- Work towards targets in relation to the role
- Identify new clients/schools and arranging appointments
- Communicate at all levels within a school to include Business Managers, Supply Coordinators and Head Teachers
- Contact existing clients in order to maintain relationship and further develop business
- Advertise vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, e.g. newspapers, websites, magazines
- Identify suitable candidates for positions in schools using our extensive database
- Receive and review applications, manage interviews and create a shortlist of candidates
- Interview and inform candidates about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
- Applicants must have their own transport and ideally have undertaken a graduate degree or can provide evidence of work based experience in this field of work.
OVERVIEW
- Competitive Salary that is dependent on experience.
- Hours = 41.5 annualised hours per week
- 7am - 5pm term time
- 9am -3pm during school holidays (pay remains same each month)
- Bonus payments paid when targets are hit
- Petrol expenses paid at 40p per mile
- CPD (continuing professional development) offered to all staff
