This established Somerset secondary school has an immediate opening for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join its learning support team. This role is perfect for a Psychology graduate that wishing to develop their experience of supporting students with a diverse range of additional learning needs including autism or ADHD
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be required to provide support in literacy and numeracy to students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse ability levels.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with well-developed literacy and numeracy skills as well a strong interest in special educational needs. The ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of pupils and a patient, nurturing approach are essential for this role.
