Finance Manager
Would you like to be part of an expanding business with a strong order book? We currently have a vacancy for a Finance Manager at our site in Barrow-In-Furness.
As a Finance Manager, you will be part of the Central Finance Team, leading the Reporting Section. It is a pivotal role in pulling together financial information from all business areas and onward reporting to Head Office.
This role will provide you with exposure to all areas of the business, and roles within the function to support personal development.
Your main responsibilities as a Finance Manager will involve:
Responsibility for the delivery of Monthly Management Reporting (MMR) and the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
Producing board reports inputting into both Maritime Submarines business and the BAE Systems PLC monthly review pack
Responsibility for the financial integrity of the ledgers
Managing a team and supporting their development
Ensuring Financial systems are fit for purpose
Annual statutory reporting
Your skills and qualifications as a Finance Manager:
You will be qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA or relevant experience
Demonstrable financial accounting experience
Previous experience of producing monthly management accounts
Experience of working in a business partnering capacity
Previous line manager experience
Experience of using SAP

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Dreadnought is the successor to the Vanguard class of nuclear deterrent submarines. We will deliver four submarines to the Royal Navy, with the first submarine entering service in the early 2030s. Dreadnought is widely considered to be one of the world's most complex engineering challenges.
