Embedded Software Engineer is required to join a fast growing electronics company in Swindon that provide custom high performance LED Light engines and optical displays for the industrial, defence and consumer sectors.
As Embedded Software Engineer you will work within the new product development team who focus on the design, development, manufacture, test and integration of LED products. Your role will be to develop firmware & software for new products, support legacy platforms and support unit testing.
The Ideal Embedded Software Engineer candidate will have
* A Degree in Electronics or Software
* A minimum of 5 years experience
* Strong firmware architecture, C & C# programming skills with proven expertise in design, implementation and test.
*FPGA programming (i.e. Xilinx, Altera)
*Visual Basic programming.
*A working knowledge of circuit design and PCB layouts.
*Understanding of serial interfaces such as I2C, SPI and RS232.
*Experience with different microcontrollers
*Experience of Arduino.
*Experience in measurement equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, Logic Analyzer).
