Quality Inspector
Basildon
GBP28,000 to GBP32,000 + Unlimited overtime paid at higher rate +monthly bonus + 25 days holiday + pension + additional benefits.
Monday to Friday, 8 A.M. TO 4 P.M.
Quality Inspector required for a well established automotive company. The successful candidate will benefit from recently refurbished facilities, a market leading benefits package and progression.
To apply for the role, the Quality Inspector will ideally have worked within the motorsport, aerospace or a precision machinery environment. It will be crucial to have experience of 5 axis, FAIR's and CMM operation and programming. It would be beneficial if the Quality Inspector has previously worked to ISO 90001. Full training on the company's systems will be provided.
The Quality Inspector will work within a small team of 4, within the quality department. The daily job will involve liaising heavily with other engineers and machinists to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. The Quality Inspector will be involved in first and final checks, uploading the necessary data to a portal and ensuring clients are able to access the data. The role may involve some customer face to face interaction, however, this isn't mandatory.

The role:
Working within a small team of quality engineers.
Liaising with the quality manager and other engineers heavily.
Carrying out initial and final inspections.

The Quality Inspector:
have experience of 5 axis.
Have experience carrying out FAIR's.
Knowledge of CMM operation and programming.
Have previously worked to ISO 90001 quality standards.
