Ever thought about working for an organisation that changes people’s lives.

Who they are

Our client is a leading national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. They believe in championing the right of disabled people to live, work, socialise and participate in the community, free of discrimination and unnecessary boundaries.

Who they are looking for

They are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to join them to provide a confidential personal assistance, secretarial and administrative support to their Directors of Finance and HR, based at their Highland House office in Wimbledon. Taking minutes, you will respond to visitors, emails and telephone calls, filtering calls and enquiries, transferring to the appropriate person, in a professional manner, upholding the reputation of the company at all times. Providing diary management, file management, (electronic and paper) you will manage expenses, maintaining appropriate records and reviewing expenditure against budgets, drawing attention to any areas of concern.

What they need from you

Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude, you will have proven experience of working as a PA or Secretary with excellent organisation skills, mature approach, good attention to detail and accuracy. Working autonomously, with absolute discretion always, you will have minute taking experience and will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be working with Directors simultaneously, therefore it is beneficial if the successful candidates hold experience of providing support to multiple people. With good Microsoft Office Skills (including Excel and PowerPoint), and experience of presenting documents in a professional manner, you will ideally have experience of using iTrent (their HR Information System) however this is not essential.

The benefits

In return for your passion and commitment, they offer a comprehensive benefits package including:

25 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time) , which increases after 3 and 5 years’ service.
Pension contribution
Childcare vouchers
Access to free occupational health, physiotherapy, counselling and advice services
Fully paid training and access to nationally recognised qualifications
Travel to work scheme (season ticket loan)
Access to an online shopping platform with discounts from over 3,500 retailers
